Opportunity to Connect: Arlington Diversity Task Group

SMC is looking for a St. Paul member or two who would be willing to serve on the Arlington 20/20 Diversity Task Group. The group consists of people who are committed to making Arlington inclusive, fostering awareness, community, and action, and creating safe spaces where all are welcome. They meet once a month from 6:45-9 pm on the second Monday of the month at the Jefferson Cutter House. You'd not only have the opportunity to get more connected to Arlington but also help connect St. Paul to the good work happening in our neighborhood. If you are interested, contact Vicar Alissa (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Support Taryn's PMC Ride!

Dear St Paul friends,

Many of you know that I am a cyclist, some of you know I do the Pan Mass Challenge (a 164 mile charity bicycle ride in August). This will be my fourth year and I still love it. I love the training and the camaraderie, but the fundraising can be daunting. The cause is a worthy one. Dana-Farber Cancer Research Institute receives 100% of your tax deductible donation. 100%!
I’ve lost many family members and a few friends to cancer. I’ve watched many friends and family battle cancer and win. I currently know several people in the middle of cancer treatment. This is what drives me to keep raising money for this cause. We all know someone. We’ve all been affected by cancer.
Check out my donation page where you can read my Top 10 reasons I ride. If you don’t feel comfortable giving online, you can give by check made out to: PMC
Please give - no amount is too small. I’m grateful for anything that gets me closer to my goal of $6000.00

Peace and Gratitude,

P.S. I ride with a list of names in my pocket of loved ones who have been touched by cancer. My loved ones and my friend’s loved ones - if you’d like me to carry someone in my pocket for PMC 2016 please give me their name.
